The latest QS University Rankings 2025 for the Arab region has been released, showcasing the leading universities shaping higher education and research in the Middle East. King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) topped the list with a perfect score of 100, reaffirming its status as a regional leader in science and technology education.
Close behind, Qatar University scored 98.6, reflecting its strong growth and investment in academic excellence. King Saud University, one of Saudi Arabia’s oldest and most prestigious institutions, ranked third with 96.1, maintaining its influential role across the region. Completing the top five are Khalifa University of the UAE (94.7) and United Arab Emirates University (94), both renowned for their focus on innovation and applied research.
Other notable universities in the top ten include the American University of Beirut (92), King Abdulaziz University (89.3), Sultan Qaboos University in Oman (85.2), University of Jordan (83), and the American University of Sharjah (82.4).
