Publishing in Web of Science (WoS)–indexed journals remains one of the top goals for researchers worldwide. Each month, Clarivate updates its Master Journal List (MJL) — adding new journals, removing underperforming ones, and recording title changes.
The October 2025 (10th) update brought several important changes that authors and institutions should be aware of. This article summarizes those updates, categorizes the journals, and provides a quick tutorial on how to verify indexing and download the full Clarivate list.
Clarivate has added 67 new journals to the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI). These journals are now officially part of the Web of Science Core Collection.

Check the Indexing Status:
If it says “Indexed in: ESCI, SCIE, SSCI, or AHCI”, it is officially part of WoS.
If the journal is not listed, it’s not indexed.
Review the Publisher Details to ensure legitimacy.
